Firstly, if you have never travelled to Leeds then you should. In terms of shopping it is pretty cool; we have designer stored in Victoria Quarter, boutiques all along towards the Corn Exchange, great food (even vegan), and the city is lively. As far as the arts go, there are things that people aren’t aware of, I have only just started realising how many theatres we have, the new exhibitions we have in small art spaces throughout the city, and Leeds is about to get more money injected into it. I for one cannot wait.
Rome is, I think, the most beautiful European city which I have visited yet. It has something about it which I cannot describe to you. It’s not like Paris, nor London which is constantly go, go, go(!!) instead it has this relaxing character, a little similar to York, in West Yorkshire England; but as well as the relaxation you feel, blissfully strolling down the river Tiber, you have bountiful amounts of history, the Vatican, amazing food… its like a blend of awesome. Honestly, I recommend anyone and everyone to visit Rome.
Paris is a fabulous city. Beautiful and elegant. I absolutely loved the time I spent here. It was the third place I visited and unfortunately those amateur traveller mistakes were made throughout our visit.
Marrakech is a beautiful place. Full of wonder, mystery, smells, a bit of dirt, and beautiful people (mainly young women). Unfortunately when I visited Marrakech it was my first week away travelling, and due to my lack of experience prior to travelling I did not fill my week there with activities and places to visit. I know, total amateur. (First mistake).
